We have in recent years been told about the issue of hunger and how the need for food here and around the world continues unabated.
We are reminded of this and yet we persevere to help raise money and awareness of the issue. In fact, this our 40th year of the CROP Hunger Walk will bring us together yet again as the need continues to help.
Did you know that in the 39 years of the walk in Oak Park, Forest Park, River Forest, Chicago, Melrose Park and Maywood, our citizens have raised over $1,881,000.00 to support local agencies in our community and around the world.
The work done by CWS Global on this issue and others reminds of our collective mission to make a difference in peoples lives.
As our tag line states: Ending Hunger One Step At A Time remains our mantra to accomplish this.
