We had a virtual online meeting on April 12th, 2020 with a number of team members; team captains and representatives of food agencies in the community.
One of the people was Teri Miller, Director of Development, at Beyond Hunger in Oak Park, IL. Terry talks about the impact and modifications that have had to be made at the agency due to the COVID-19 virus.
Not only are there many changes that have taken place but their stories of how the community comes together, as written about in the Wednesday Journal's Oak Park Eats Column, is one example of people coming together in these troubled times.
